Dear Colleagues
After the phenomenal success of last year’s course, on behalf of the Victor Horsley Department of Neurosurgery, Queen Square,
London,
I am delighted to invite you to the prestigious Wellcome Collection Building, in central London for this year’s Annual World Course in Neurosurgical Oncology.
To download the full program and register please go to www.neurosurgery-courses.com
On Day 1 there will be three awake craniotomies; Mitch Berger will operate in San Francisco and show his unique techniques; Hugues Duffau will perform live one of his “supracomplete” resections in Montpellier; and Walter Stummer, the man who introduced Gliolan in Neurosurgery, will show live his tips and tricks. All three operations will be streamed live in London. You can ask the surgeons questions during their operations.
On Day 2, we will present interactive 3D anatomy shows related to approaches for intrinsic tumours with world class neuroanatomists Guilherme Ribas and Antonio Mussi, Brazil and Juan Martino, Spain, a white matter tracts authority.
On Day 3, the surgeons will fly to London to discuss in the Master’s Seminars their techniques. In the afternoon there will be hands on workshops run by all members of the Faculty.
On the final Day 4, we will have basic science and research topics from Roger Stupp, the man who introduced Temozolamide and Andreas von Deimling the neuropathologist who introduced most molecular markers in gliomas. The final day is also the day of controversies and debates as well as the day where you can discuss your difficult cases with the Masters.
To top it all up we have planned a few relaxing evenings in the summery London with Dinner at the House of Parliament on Saturday night, a venue that money can’t get you in!
Places are strictly limited! Apply now! at www.neurosurgery-courses.com
We look forward to welcoming you to a unique event during four intensive days!
Best wishes
