We are honoured to announce that we are holding the 10th Neurosurgical Nursing Congress together with Turkish Neurosurgical Society 28th Annual Scientific Congress between April 4-8, 2014 in Rixos Sungate Hotel Congress Centre, Beldibi, Antalya and we kindly invite you to participate in this congress. This year we will have completed our first decade congresses, the traditional scientific activity of our society, review our strengths and weaknesses and aim at new targets.
In this congress we are going to discuss the innovations in the fields of operating rooms, neuro-intensive care, spinal surgery, paediatrics and oncologic nursing, which are special fields of neurosurgical nursing. We also hope to initiate new developments in the field of spinal surgery and plan to share with you the steps that will provide information and skills. These initiatives will enable us to handle new practices in the field of neurosurgery with a multidisciplinary cooperation and reflect these on the patient and her/his family. Besides, we are going to hold a panel on “neurosurgery nursing, ethics and law”, and a workshop on “neurosurgery nursing and problems of and solution offers for hospital information systems. We wish to meet you in our congress to participate in the decision making process with knowledge and skills in the related topics and be a part of the solution.
Our congress will be enriched by the contributions of national/international experts and our colleagues’ research and practice experience. In accordance with your offers and demands, we are planning to organise courses. The first three studies included in our congress and chosen by our members of scientific board will be awarded by the support of Turkish Neurosurgery Society.
We would like to thank Dear, Proff. Dr. Uğur Ture, the President of Turkish Neurosurgery Society and the members of the administrative board for their support. We also thank Dear Huriye Ozturk, the founding and honorary President, and the members of the board, former Presidents and members of board of Turkish Neurosurgery Society for their contributions. Also we would like to thank Nurse Lecturers, colleagues, experienced Neurosurgery Professors, who have carried the Neurosurgery family to these days, and young neurosurgery nurses who work in each part of our beautiful country for their support, on behalf of all our colleagues.
